I will be pleasantly surprised if this team wins 7 or more in SEC play. They just don’t look very good

Yep. Lagged streaming both on TV and on my phone. About 3-4 seconds behind.

Hopefully the SMU game taught us something. Cautiously optimistic going into league play

"Mike was away from the team today for personal reasons, expect him to be back after christmas" - coach MM on Mike Williams.

we may have another Tyrell ward situation brewing here.

I do t want to speculate because I’m not sure how common it’s become but we’ve had an awful lot of players quitting, leaving and rejoining or having issues with the team since he’s been here. It’s bizarre to me but again I’d need more context on how rare it is.

the juice situation was because he was playing like arse and couldn't handle the backlash from the fanbase. he posted about it frequently on his ig story.

tyrell quit because his minutes got taken away by dji and vj.

mike is a similar situation. he has barely played after being a cornerstone of our team last year. even though mcmahon says he expects him to be back, i am skeptical until we see him suited up again. time and time again mcmahon has obfuscated his true intentions with political coach talk. as of now im 60/40 on mike not coming back.

Some of that doesn’t make sense. Not your post but those situations don’t make sense, especially Ward and Williams. We also had Cook quit and the Phillips situation that also seemed off IMO.

I don’t see how this team gets any more than 6 wins in conference.

Does McMahon get a year 4 if that’s the case?

you probably right my fandom for basketball what it once was but apparently judging from the crowd I am not the only fan that feels this way. I did a quick check on Alabama basketball ( for comparison)and while they have played some cupcakes also. They have played a much tougher schedule so far which includes 16 Purdue, Illinois, 15 Houston, 10 Oregon, UNC In comparison LSU hasn’t played a ranked team, with the toughest being SMU, Florida State and Kansas State. Maybe it’s a strategy from MM since the SEC is brutal this year. We will soon find out

Sure. You just randomly picked a team with one of the hardest schedules in college basketball.

While you were checking their schedule did you take note of their last 3 games before the conference schedule? North Dakota, South Dakota, and Kent State.

I support Mac all the way, but 5 SEC wins may be the ceiling this year. Better beat Vandy in game one at home.

lol I’m not arguing with you and I just picked an SEC team. My response was to the poster talking about how small the crowd was today. I’m sure other SEC teams have small crowds for cupcakes. We just seem to have a lot. Maybe MM is trying to get his win total up before league play. Like others have suggested 5-7 wins possibly

WTF?

5-13 in the SEC is good with you?

I don't care what year in the program we are, but holy shite. I know the SEC is stacked, but come on. That's the standard we're living with?

Problem with Jalen cook is the whole team suffered when he was on court

I think McMahon is a good coach but unless lsu starts paying comparable nil they are not gonna have enough talent to compete in this sec era with the teams they will have to face night in night out

this. It kind of feels like not much effort is going to the basketball program regarding NIL money
