I was curious how last year's players were doing on their new teams

Xavier Pinson- 13.3 ppg, 4.7 apg, 40% from 3 (New Mexico St)
Eric Gaines- 10.1 ppg, 5.4 apg, (UAB)
Brandon Murray - 15.4 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 4.1 apg (Georgetown)
Efton Reid - 2.0 ppg, 1.5 rpg (Gonzaga)
Alex Fudge - 8.0 ppg, 4.9 rpg (Florida)

Murray and Fudge would have been really good for this current team

Reid is not starting like he did at LSU and getting far less minutes
UAB has a decent program but the others are at lesser schools except for Reid and Fudge

I have no idea why Murray went to Georgetown, he had SEC schools after him, he will likely enter portal again once Ewing is fired

I watched him against Purdue and that Edey dude ate him alive. Not really trying to crap on him, Edey is making a lot of guys look foolish this season.

Gaines and Fudge have the most NBA potential. Long and quick twitch athletes.

Any particular reason why Xavier Pinson ended up at New Mexico State ?

Greg Heiar is there. Wade may have connected them.

Nice assists per game average.

Murray would have been nice, but there is a bit of redundancy with him and Miller. Fudge would have been the bigger piece to keep because LSU desperately needs another post player to rebound/defend.

Reed has the size to do it, but his lack of experience doesn’t allow McMahon to rely on him for big minutes right now. LSU has room to improve in all areas, but I’m really worried about the rebounding once they get to SEC play

Murray would have started in front of Wilkinson, remember he is very long at 6'6

I just turned the G’town game and saw Murray score 7 in the span of about 40 seconds with a rebound and good defense in that stretch.

He wouldn’t have committed without Wade, so maybe it should be, thanks, Woody.

Give it a few minutes and Woodys defenders will be by to downvote.

Murray or Gaines would be huge for this team. Both solid defensively, can attack, and shoot.

I love giving thanks to tGeneral.

Remember when he won us our first SEC title by going 16-2 three years after Johnny Jones went 2-16. Or was it 1-17.

Curious to see how the rest of NMSU's season pans out after that shooting. The entire thing seems fishy to me.
