Venables is not leaving Clemson he's about to get paid. I'm down with Pelini or Aranda. Either one would be a great hire.

I'm not sure Raymond is worth the risk. I wonder how involved he is in gameplans for the defense? I like him as a coach and think he's one of the best recruiters on this staff...but can he coach a defense? He's going to get a shot somewhere and I'd hate to lose him. It's not like we can do worse than Steele at this point I believe.

With the way the Les thing was handled, I wouldn't be surprised to see BDP get promoted again.

according to USC board Aranda is meeting with officials this morning.ready to offer 1 mil.as in cali we had better move on him soon

Don't get excited. It'll be someone not on the radar and not someone we will be happy with. Probably someone like the Nicholls State defensive coordinator or a position coach that we've barely heard of or has a less than stellar record. It's the LSU way. When have we hired a coach that excited us?
