He is a boom or bust guy for sure 2 Omaha trips as a bun to unacceptable results for LSU.
It really needs to be Corbin, Vitello, McDonnell first and Johnson and Godwin next

We do always seem to have a few players from California already as is. Arnold and Thompson this year. Wouldnt be so bad to have someone who can recruit the west coast guys here and then use tops for in state guys. But I agree that it's not optimal

I don’t know the answer to the first question. I think it would have to fall for an assistant to have a chance. And I couldn’t tell you if anyone with the search was even in Omaha

I'll throw another curve ball out there. Cannizaro has been rumored to take the Nicholls job but hasn't been announced. If it's Gautreau (very unlikely), maybe that's why Cannizaro hasn't been announced at Nicholls yet because he's joining Gautreau in BR. Just a thought.
