We are pretty far off. You’re in denial if you don’t see it.

Neither was UGa last year.

This roster has talent but it’s missing one major piece...a play making QB.
Everyone can point to Etling and his stats but he was never a playmaking QB. He was told, don’t make the big mistake and take your lumps.
Hell this offense was built around the inability to create a passing threat on its own.
There’s not a doubt in my mind that we are a play making QB away from the playoffs. We are also on the verge of a 6-6 team and becoming completely irrelevant.
With the inability to identify and develop a QB, we are destined to be a 6-6 to 8-4 team.

I said the same thing. LSU isn’t in the same stratusphere and those 4 teams

we played bama closer than clemson
What difference does that make if you lose?

Yep. Just said that to a buddy. We are so far away from those teams in terms of talent, skill and coaching. I wanted to believe we could keep pace but ain’t gonna happen until major coaching changes are made.

We did not improve as much as I had hoped on offense, but I don't see how the program went backwards. RB will be somewhat of a question mark next season, but we will be better at QB. The lines will be deeper, and we finally have several playmakers at LB. We will have a reliable kicker. I would like to see what Canada can do in year two, but we'll have to see what happens wth that.
You can’t possibly be serious about this when looking at the season as a whole? after getting hammered by MSU and losing to Troy then this?
This should have been an 11-2 or 12-1 season under Miles.
Geez dude. The schedule was gifted. The SEC West was complete garbage including Bama when we played them without their LBs. Our 2 cross division teams were worse than anything we’ve seen from them for years.
The year was bad. No 2 ways about it.

That's pretty much the substantive analysis that I would expect from you.

Keep melting, baw. It's quite the spectacle.

Actually, it's people like you that remain in denial who are creating the spectacle. It's simultaneously amazing and pathetic to witness.

This was the only good thing about the loss - we don't have to listen to a bunch of tripe about how the great Coach O turned LSU back into a powerhouse.

Exactly. The loss was very fortunate.

"Melting" and "baw" in one post - very original.

It doesn't take much to rustle folks here. No need to get creative.

where is the optimism
All we have to do is look to georgia to see it's possible...
8-5 with losses to...
Vandy, Fla, Tenn, Ga. Tech, and ole miss (45-14 the worse loss to ole miss in their history...remind you of something?)
