That Florida win sealed the deal on that. Don’t expect any real changes this offseason. It is what it is.

Pelinis gone

If the game that saves his job was against florida then that's nuts. He gave up 600 yards

They will blame covid and opt outs. We have seen how stubborn O is. I’m just trying to be realistic here. LSU is strapped financially.

Reminder that UF had 609 yards and 34 points. Pelini is gone.

That would be retarded if so. Bill Connelly had our post game win expectancy at .6%. By far the lowest of the year for any team. It was one of the luckiest wins any team has had for the last ten years.

Don’t get me wrong it was fun as shite. But other than the fact that O hasn’t lost the entire team effort wise, it doesn’t change much about the product we’re actually putting out there

The people that pay the buy outs and salaries are not strapped. Don’t confuse these three separate entities the school which sucks at fundraising, the athletic department which does a decent job fundraising and did lose revenue this year or will and then you have the TAF who pay for buy outs and salary. The taf is just fine and it only really takes a few big money people to make change happen.

Good. I think we have an excellent staff, and I was very worried that the mouth breathing mob would force some changes.

He may be stubborn, but he had no hesitation dumping Canada after one year when it didn’t work out. I don’t think he will hold onto guys with the heat that’s on him after a very disappointing season. The bigger issue is him making the right hires this time, which is far from a given.

This. I was resigned to him staying after slight improvement vs Arkansas and A&M due to his contract, but that Bama game had to seal the deal. He’s never beating them, no matter how many years he has and who we bring in. And now that Auburn has dumped Malzahn for a boatload, the optics of firing staff are no longer an issue. If the guys holding the purse strings are good, then Bo’s a dead man walking.

Why do you think we would go through the pain of a season with no starters returning and the switch to the 4/3 to fire a guy and eat another $5 million..

Yep we gave up 600 yards to the best Pass offense in the country With two of our top 3 DBs out. MLB out.

I remind you that Aranda got lit up 5 times last year. Including 5. 75 yard drives by Florida. Maybe 6.

Why are memories so short and expectations so far out of alignment with reality.

You talking about state? I can never keep the 600 yard games straight in my head.

Is this a fricking joke? The defense put on the field is worthy of being fired. That's putting it gently.

Forgot to laugh at you for even trying to compare Aranda's defense to this fricking shite show, so let me get that in now

I don’t see any way that no changes are made after this year regardless of the win.

Yep, E and Linehan have to go. We Could possibly just promote Callaway to OC and bring in a new passing coordinator. Just snag another analyst off the Saints again. Offense can really open up with MJ's legs and touch. We have some big time QB competition coming this offseason MB vs. MJ VS TJ
