Wrong. The outcome of this game will be sealed by halftime or shortly thereafter. If not a rout, it's going to be close to one.

Then the future is always now with that attitude.

What I'm saying is if we make it through this season without career ending injuries, then next year's team should be freak nasty. Not saying this year's team doesn't have that potential, but with all these young guys getting a year of SEC play under their belts, it would be a disappointment if they didn't at least make the playoffs next year (they could this year, let's see what happens )

Yeah LSU has shut out its weaker non conference opponents. Miss St. Has given up 37 points the first three weeks against similar competition.

I watch for LSU to put together its' best game so far this season and win this game 42-17.

I really think this defense has gotten better since the first half of Wisconsin. I think Dak gets his 100, but we hold them to less than 200 rushing. I also think we destroy their passing game. On the opposite end, I expect Fournette and Jennings to have their breakout games. I'm talking 300 passing 3 TDs from Jennings and 120 yards rushing with a rushing and receiving TD from Fournette. At first I was saying 28-17, but now I think 42-20. We are only ahead 21-14 at half, but the defense gets fired up, and the run game finally breaks free. A long bomb on the first drive of the third puts us up 28-14, then the run game takes over. At that point, we are trading TDs for FGs.

When a team named The Blazers can score 34 points and run up 548 yards in offense against an SEC team...I think our chance of beating this SEC team by double digits is highly likely.

A lot of ESPN heads and a ESPN-affiliate heads are pumping Miss St. because the HAVE to... It's their job to get the country excited to watch a prime time, SEC matchup on their network.

There's no way Prescott is better than Johnny Football... Remember the last two outings we had against the Heisman winner?

Jennings I could see b/c we're going to have to eventually spread the field, but LF coming out party - why this game and not one of the previous 3?

I jumped off the horse at this...

LM style of football will not allow this 42pts unless the def. and special teams add to the scoring.

It will be a ground and pound game that stays close only because we are so predictable on first and second down.

Hope I'm wrong and we open it up a little but not holding breath.

LSU in a squeaker 23-17

We scored 59 points at their house last year.

IDK about that. I think you will see us pass more often on Saturday than we have this year.

We scored 28 points in the fourth quarter last year. One pass on the first play for a TD, then 13 straight runs for 3 TDs.

Our defense is better than last year. State seems to have an even worse secondary than last year (Mett 25/29 340 yards 2 TDs).

I really don't think we just run. run, run, all game. I do believe we will open it up. It's the perfect opportunity.
