I will agree that slow starts, playing down, and, all too frequently, needing to be punched in the face before we play up to our potential is unnerving and frustrating as a fan.... But you can't knock the "grind them down" style of offense and game management by our, usually, more physically gifted team. It's a proven tactic that has worked, become our brand, and wins us games.

I like a 94-yard TD pass to start the game... But expect a toss dive. Start the wear-down early.

It's quite alright... It's week 2. We have the conference and schedule ahead of us that if we take care of our wins, take care of our schedule... They will be forced to recognize us as Oregon and Florida St. lose late and after Bama loses to us.

A young team was down 17 points in the second half... They pulled themselves together, out of the hole, corrected some assignments, stopped the early run, and starting playing LSU Football. The team probably learned a lot from that experience... away from Tiger stadium... on national TV.....


Yeah, I'd say the team is "better" for it.
