LSU is getting great again and now i’m about to give up

I think I’m getting very close to giving up watching football. It has become intolerably boring.
After two or three plays there is a tight shot of an official explaining the latest infraction.
When was the last time you saw a team get the ball, get a couple of first downs, either score or have to punt without a penalty being called at some point during the drive?
You’ll never see again two drives in a row without a penalty called.
I remember years ago you were shocked when you saw a yellow flag on the field.
It’s at least 12 times a game now where you hear the phrase, “after further review....”
I don’t think I’m going to make it through the season.
It’s a shame. Football used to be exciting.
