So basically LSU has played and beaten Alabama once in the past 10 years in an away game that was after 6:00 pm or later. How is that relevant to Nov. 5th? Don't think Alabama losing to LSU last year will be taken lightly by our team..

**For any and all serious Alabama Fans hoping/praying to beat LSU on 11/5/11**

~The Data and Facts (game times, opponents, stadiums, outcomes) surrounding the STAT & STATISTICS contained in this Thread/Post~(LSU 30-1 @ Night Away from Home over last 10 Years)~

to a Bama Fan this LSU STAT & FACT simply does not bode well for their football team and must be/feel like the equivalent of taking a big, long serated knife blade and scraping it back and forth across their very own femur bone! Thirty (30) Wins and only One(1) Loss @ Night Away from Home in Last 10 Years is an undeniably harrowing history lesson for Tide fan. Bama fans having trouble reckoning with the above statistic and what it very likely and obviously (math) portends, would be wise and do well to remove all guns from their homes prior to the upcoming game with LSU. So Sorry. It's obvious how much you want/need it.

Nick Saban won half of those. The only only loss was under Miles. That's what I take from it. A pile of shite that isn't going to influence the outcome of the game, anymore than any other statistic you, or I, can post.

Try to dispel it, but LSU going 30-1 @ Night Away for an Alabama Fan instantly depresses and sinks their hopes. The reality and thought of this Stat/Fact/Record must linger and remain like the Marlon Brando (Apocolypse Now) line..............."The Horror"

Over the same time period, the record for Nick Saban coached teams is 28-1.

10/22/11 Tennessee W 37-6
10/8/11 Vanderbilt W 34-0
9/17/11 North Texas W 41-0
11/18/10 Georgia State W 63-7
11/13/10 Mississippi State W 30-10
10/16/10 Ole Miss W 23-10
10/2/10 Florida W 31-6
9/11/10 Penn State W 24-3
9/4/10 San Jose State W 48-3
10/17/09 South Carolina W 20-6
9/12/09 Florida International W 40-14
11/15/08 Mississippi State W 32-7
9/13/08 Western Kentucky W 41-7
9/6/08 Tulane W 20-6
9/22/07 Georgia L 26-23 (OT)
9/15/07 Arkansas W 41-38
9/1/07 Western Carolina W 52-6
10/09/04 at No.12 Florida (6:45 pm) Won 24-21
01/04/04 No.1 Oklahoma - BCS Championship (7:00 pm) Won 21-14
12/06/03 No.5 Georgia - SEC Championship (7:00 pm) Won 34-13
11/15/03 at Alabama (6:45 pm) Won 27-3
10/18/03 at South Carolina (6:45 pm) Won 33-7
09/27/03 at Miss State (8:00 pm) Won 41-6
09/06/03 at Arizona (9:00 pm) Won 59-13
10/12/02 at No.16 Florida (6:45 pm) Won 36-7
01/01/02 No.7 Illinois - Sugar Bowl (7:30 pm) Won 47-34
12/08/01 No.2 Tennessee - SEC Championship (7:00 pm) Won 31-20
10/20/01 at Miss State (8:00 pm) Won 42-0
10/13/01 at Kentucky (6:00 pm) Won 29-25

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Also note that Bama has gone 4 years without losing a night game; LSU has only gone 3 years. Why should Bama be scared when Saban has just as good of a history of winning night games, and probably a better record than Les Miles in the last 10 years if you want to go pull up his OSU days.

Just shows that the statistic can mean whatever you want it to, and that it's meaningless and has no impact on the outcome of the next game.

Good point, don't disagree

Admit it, you dug deep to make yourself feel better

And that's exactly how intimidating 30-1 is

..and magically that means what in relation to this game? How many players on this LSU team have played players on the Alabama team at night and on the road?

Sonofabitch! Dude even went to the trouble of listing the start times!

Break it down by that!

The real stat is the number of threads that LSU fans will create between now and Nov 5th to convince theirselves that their team has a chance to win.
