I am still laughing that your hope for this years LSU team is based on your past. That you feel the only chance for LSU to win is for the ghost of the past to return and help.
LSU is a great team this year just like UA. I doubt they need past results to help them bring their best game, but if it helps the inferiority complex you are displaying not feed the need to medicate go ahead.

No one has said that. Maybe your reading comprehension isn't what it should be.
I don't think either the fans of Alabama or LSU have to look very far to understand that both of their teams are very good this year and have a chance to do something special. No need to look at the past for hope that we have a chance to beat Alabama. Neither should fans of Alabama.
It is just an impressive stat. And it is a message board, for frick's sake.
This board makes the rant look like a Mensa convention.

You guys need to calm down I only giving you a hard time and yes I understand it is a message board.
I am looking forward to the game and think it will be probably the best game for 2011. It is just sad it has to happen on Nov 5th and not in the BCSNCG.

It's obvious due to the lack of new, unique and total # of Bama posters/replies regarding this Thread, and the
~TOTALLY DEVASTATING STAT/FACT IT REVEALS~
30-1 AWAY @ NIGHT
...........that the Gumps have pretty much conceded the game!! There were crickets until a lone gump attempted to counter the grave news with bogus records/statistics that were quickly sussed out. Actually, even with the false facts and lies used, Bama came out looking even worse when the teams and strenght of sched Bama played was considered.
Alabama, and everyone else in College Football, already knew the mystique (voodoo) associated with LSU and night games. The simple fact is that: ~LSU OWNS THE NIGHT!~
The topic of this thread and incredibly sobering statistic
(for Bama fans, players and coaches) BURN this FACT deep into their collective crimson hearts and soul. LSU really has/does "own the night"..........and that it is extremely unlikely that LSU will lose to Bama on 11/5/11 and/or to anyone else they play at night in the future. Historical and Statistical Fact. So Sorry Gump.
It is clear to everyone that this stat trumps everything that has been said (or will be said), seen or heard about these 2 great teams and game. It's obvious and evident that for the entire University of Alabama and all Bama Fans and Alumni - that this LSU stat/fact hurts ice hot deep to the bone and effectively shuts you up and down, along with the Tide's hopes/dreams for the 2011 season. We know and appreciate that you are going to support LSU (SEC) in the BCS National Championship Game in New Orleans this year, as we and the rest of the SEC teams always have/will do the same for each other school/team. Oh wait a minute - scratch that. Bama's pride, hate and self-rightous delusional superiority does not and did not allow them to do that for Auburn last year. Bama is the only team in the SEC that can not and does not do this. Despite what Bama hopes, wishes or wants...... Auburn and the SEC still prevailed; as will LSU on 11/5/11 and in New Orleans next year!

Alabama has played the likes of Georgia State, Westerrn Kentucky, Florida International, and San Jose State on the road??
The original intent of the thread was to show LSU's sucess on the road in night games. What would be gained by showing Alabama's success in road night games. Use some logic here, man.

Why are you laughing? I could have not even shown the Shula era, relative to comparing Alabama at home in the same time frame. But lets just be honest, Alabama was not very good from 2000-2006. I'm sure we can find some equally bad losses for LSU in the 1990s.

From someone inside Bama's AD office....Alabama wanted to keep the game at 2:30 pm.
Saban knows that LSU is a different kind of animal after the sun goes down, at home or away.

Just returned from a 2 day trip to the State of Alabama. Thought I'd test the effect of this 30-1 historical fact, record and statistic on Live Gump (Bama) Fans while I was there.
There were Bama fans everywhere. No other team picks up as many "instant" fans as Bama does. Down every dirt road there are staunch Bama fans. You'd think they all went to school there. If they are over 35, they will almost always tell you about the day they stood on the side of the road and watched Bear Bryant's hearse/casket go by. Its all very touching, but young or old, ask them who Alabama's Offensive Coordinator is, and they have no idea. They're not sure who Alabama plays or has played this year, but they know they won, and that Alabama is a winner.
Every truck has one of those big red "A's" on it, and every car has Bama flags flying from the windows. All adult men across the state are wearing Jorts with a Crimson Tide T-shirt. It's like the State Uniform. And there are an infinite # of Alabama t-shirts to choose from. I mean THOUSANDS!! The University of Alabama and the Crimson Tide logo/artwork are used and associated with ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in the state! It's open game. Everyone, including businesses and professional people, no matter how reputable or illegal, are all ignorant of licensing. The NCAA & SEC have given up trying to police or control licensing in the State. Good agents were hired and sent out into the field. Most never returned or were ever heard from again. The "official" U of A and Bama logo has been used, copied and bootlegged so often by so many people..... that no one knows what it is, was or looks like anymore. Any red elephant will do.
Almost all of the meetings and conversations I had about the upcoming LSU vs Alabama game were fun and cordial. We want back and forth talking/bragging about each other's strengths. Everyone was careful about making any bold statements about who would win. Legitimate respect and real fear was given and shown for each other's team/coaches/players/etc.
I would wait awhile, but eventually, I would mention the fact that LSU was 30-1 in Night Games Played Away from Home over the Last 10 Years. Everything and everybody suddenly got quiet. There was no comeback or response. It was like the Grim Reaper had somehow snuck in the room. Many of their faces lost color, with the most common shade being white. One dude's face seemed to turn grey, then green. His wife sensed something was wrong and tugged on his arm saying they needed to go. I'm not saying he blew beets, but he did pull away from his wife and shot through the bathroom door on his way out.
It goes deep with Bama fans man. It's psychosomatic. I'm afraid many will lose control of their bowels towards the end of the LSU game, when they are unable to reckon the score and the inevitabie outcome of the game overwhelms them.
