With the LSU/Alabama game moved to Primetime, I started thinking about LSU's past games away from Tiger Stadium at night. The only loss that stood out was the 2008 Florida game, with Lee/Hatch at QB. After doing a lot of research, I was shocked at how well LSU has played on the road and in Bowl games, at night, over the last 10 years.

Since LSU lost at No.7 Tennessee (18-26) on September 29, 2001, here are all of the games, over the last 10 years, with a start time of 6:00 pm (CST) or later, played away from Tiger Stadium....LSU is 30-1 in these last 31 games:

Since the 2001 loss at Tennessee, LSU has lost once over the last 10 years in Night Games, with a start time of 6:00 pm (CST) or later, on the road, at neutral sites, or in bowl games.

This is just an unreal stat....Feel free to mention this on your show....If you need someone to double check this information....Everything can be found at lsusports.net....Go to football schedule, and there is a dropdown to see previous years....It's all there.

Incluing the saban wins is laughable and means our coach is 28-1 in night games during this period while miles' record is less impressive So thank you for pointing out how good saban is at night.

This is a LSU stat, but if you want to talk about Miles v Saban in Night Games with a kickoff of 6 pm CST or later, Saban's Bama team lost at Auburn at night in 2007, and to Utah in the Sugar Bowl in 2008, so Saban has 2 losses, while Miles has 1 loss.

Over the LSU stretch, Saban was 12-0 and Miles is 18-1.

I'm not going to look up how many wins Saban has had at Bama away from Tuscaloosa, but he has had 2 losses, so he has a lower winning percentage.
