I think 10-6 gets us into the tourney. I'd like to think that 9-7 gets us in but I doubt it. No pre-season praise so 9-7 won't cut it.

that's right. LSU won't get the benefit of the doubt. must win 10 and one in the SEC tourney

Just finished watching on my DVR. Another good defensive performance by the Tigers. A couple painful threes by UVA late in the game and the Tigers couldn't answer down the stretch.

Ole Miss this Saturday afternoon. Geaux to Hell, Ole Miss!! Geaux to Hell!!

Good defensive game by both teams.
Turner being straddled with foul trouble hurt. The missed 3 was a great look, just didn't fall. His defensive lapse on the late Va 3 was killer though.
Hamilton was awesome for the most part.
Hickey was good at times, made some big shots.
Stringer looked good in the 1st half, struggled in the 2nd.
Issac and JOB both need to improve their shot selection.
Warren and White were both quite.

Not a bad game, but we have to find offense outside of Hamilton (especially if Turner isn't scoring).
I see this team winning somewhere between 5 and 8 SEC games. Possibly making an NIT bid, which would be a step in the right direction.

IF they keep playing hard and IF they continue to work hard at getting better as the season progresses, I would bet on the number being closer to 8 than 5. This team has better than "5-win" talent.

I did see improvement and I have been a harsh critic. However, taking a 3 when you only need a 2---bad coaching!

Well we were down three so we actually needed three points. How we choose to go about cutting into that lead is another story but Turner's look was great, he just missed it.

And when they make one of 2 freethrows that makes it 55-52...and then turner shot a wide open 3 with 5 seconds to go

We were down 3 as others have alluded to.
At 54-52 Hamilton got a reb on a Va miss, but pivoted left and Sene knocked the ball loose and back to Va. That was a tough break.

Couldn't have gotten much of a better look than Turner had. He just didn't make it.

This is still a young team. We took some bad shots in the 2nd half. Hamilton and Hickey kept us in the game late. Va simply made some shots that we didn't.
