They’re not “officially” paid by the university. Their pay comes from “outside” sources such as baseball camps.

That’s good.

My only worry, and it’s not a huge concern, but there isn’t an infield coach on this staff as far as I know.

Now they’re all baseball coaches and I’m sure Jay Johnson knows who he hired so I’m not just overly worried.

I would assume so but the only things I could find on him was talk of his offensive coaching.

In the mic’d up clip I posted in his hiring thread he was shown hitting infield though so I would assume you’re right.

I posted those dbu fielding percentages in that thread for each season, it was pretty good, but not elite numbers. Usually top 100

Jay Johnson and Fitzgerald have both coached infield before. I’m thinking it’ll probably be Fitz.
