LSU has treated the fans like nothing more than customers for years

And when you do that you don't get to then turn around and play the loyalty card to defend your shitty management of the product. And yes that's what it is in 2018, a product.
People are fed up. We're tired of being frustrated and disappointed at almost every aspect of the way the program is being run. LSU is showing nothing but contempt for its customers, and then some are actually BLAMING THE CUSTOMER when they express displeasure at not being given the product that they want! It's unreal.
Declining attendance is only going to get worse and LSU has nobody but themselves to blame. Spitting on the people who make your product something valuable and then telling them to like it is not a winning strategy.

yeah the entire fan base was united around the idea of firing miles and upgrading. the program was at a precipice. our ad bet on a career dline coach. he them allowed that dline coach to flush matt canada's salary and buyout down the toilet. youre damn right the customers are pissed.
and im not even getting into the fact that i watched a guy take out a loan so that he could feed a family of four at Tiger Stadium.

I tend to disagree with this. In fact I was just thinking the other day that it would be nice if they would treat us like customers
Most rational companies don't treat customers as if they are perpetual.
What LSU has done in the last year-and-a-half is roughly similar too if Coca-Cola's response to customer reaction to New Coke was to tell customers to go frick themselves.

I get what you're saying but I'm referring to how today I feel like LSU sees me as only a unit from which to extract revenue, with commercialization rampant both in and outside the stadium.

The harsh reality is that you have a board of supervisors who are basically calling the shots at their own convenience. Under them is F King Alexander who's basically their puppet. Under Alexander, you have Alleva, who is his puppet. And under Alleva, you have this coaching staff that even G5 schools wouldn't want. So there's your hierarchy of incompetence.
Right now, Alexander and Alleva could give a rat's arse what the fans think because they know that they will continue to donate to TAF and purchase football tickets. Until you see a 30k type crowd like during the end of Hallman's tenure, the leaders up top will continue to laugh in their box suites and keep everything the same because they see one thing.....money.

Yes but in a rational world this would be a good thing. Normal companies if they want to extract as much money from you as possible try to give you as many reasons as possible to give them your money
You want to charge me 50 bucks for a hot dog? Well okay. I really don't want to pay 50 fricking dollars for a hot dog but I'm going to be really pissed about paying 50 bucks for a hot dog right after you hire a guy completely unqualified to leave the program
Frankly I want them to wake up tomorrow and see me as a customer. I want them to wake up and think of every possible way to get me to want to spend the money on LSU.

I am upset. but i'm not crying and throwing a tantrum. and i'm not applauding juniors leaving early nor protesting at walk on's on a big recruiting week end and i'm not tearing down LSU in every breath and post.
I don't think orgeron and ensminger are the end of LSU football. sometimes it takes several hires to get back on track. look at bama, look at florida. life goes on and trying to damage our brand is senseless.

Not to be flippant, but it's a free market, you can go and find a program that fits all of your needs....LSU is not like Alabama and is going to win the national championship every other year.
Thatbeing said, you want LSU to compete that high, then someone is going to have to put up the kind of money tat Paul Bryant, Jr and his buddies put up to resurrect Alabama in late 2006. You are going to have to fire Alleva and the governor would have to release about half of the BOS

#1 I don't expect an NC every other year. I expect LSU to use the very healthy resources it has to bring in quality coaches who are coveted around the country, or at the very least hot up and comers. Just make me believe you're trying to maximize the program rather than stocking the coaching staff with yes men and good ole boys
#2 the free market already is speaking, LSU attendance has been trending down for years. And its only going to get worse.
