DB is a major issue

The guys we have coming back at safety are average and the corners LSU had last season were better.

I'm hoping the front 7 can mask a lot of the issues on the back end.

If Dwight was scumming up the place he needed to go. I wish it wasn’t the case but trust that things happened as they should have.

He is definitely a good ball player but being processed isn’t really an indicator of great leadership qualities.

We have a bunch of REALLY good WRs. Not many teams are gonna trot out guys like LSU has.

We do and it may work itself out. If the front 7 stays healthy then the DB’s just need to be pretty good.

Let’s see what our corners look like first. They got abused in 1-1 drills today. I know it was first day of practice but they are a big question mark.

There was no pass rush and the WR could run any route they wanted.

Both Alabama and UGA have more stockpiled 4-5 star talent than we do.

Yes , except I am concerned about DB.

All of our WRs look like all pros. All of them. That is concerning.

If we can avoid key injuries, we could be dangerous.

I mean most corners get abused in one on ones. One on one’s without pads is designed for receivers to win consistently

That’s false these corners are definitely more talented physically they’re jus not as proven as the corners we had last year. Guys Denver Harris has way more upside than either garner or converse they simply have to go out and perform

These two will be better than what we had last year.

Only fair, being that everyone is usually laughing at the Aggies. I can’t imagine how much it must suck to be an Aggie fan.

Aggie may have a better team coming back. That QB is legit if he stays healthy.
LSU has gaps in the secondary, LB (calling plays) and special teams.
This is all gonna come down to QB play.

Omar Speights is a stud.

What are the gaps in Special teams? Our punter is a stud and Ramos will be above average.

Good enthusiam. Not factual. We are closing the gap on GA and Bama, but aren't there yet.

And Georgia picked to win the East and Alabama picked to win the West.

LSU definitely has some solid spots and especially at QB but Georgia is about the most complete team right now.

Watch out for USC this year

I’m not complaining. OP said we were the most complete team in the SEC. We might be but the corners are brand new and never played a down against SEC receivers . For the record I think the front 7 will be elite and get enough pressure the corners just have to be pretty good.
