Fight the good fight, buddy

Underwood’s money will be needed to keep the kids you have committed now. He was a big part of why they were coming.

I mean it’s never as bad as it seems, but there’s no ignoring the fact that all we have left of school allegiance, loyalty, and tradition is memories.

I still watch some NFL games on occasion, but there’s no investment there at all. Never paid for a package to watch it, and no real care.

That’s where it’s at. The business of CFB. Guess we can start a Donor Hall of Fame

Which will be an improvement on 7-5 or 6-6 from this year. LOL

If Sloan returns, we will be lucky to win 8 games.

Of course teams can catch fire and win at the right times with a serviceable quarterback. But they have to have an involved coach who makes the right moves and puts a fire in the team. That's the difference between 2019 and 2020/21. O couldn't handle success and decided chasing pussy and fame was more important than coaching. Honestly, it feels about the same now coaching wise except BK can't hire decently.

There isn't any group that is improving, with most collapsing. That doesn't happen because the coaches are involved and giving it their best. Talent is wasted here under Brian Kelly because he's a last in first out coach when it comes to effort and hires. I guess a 2nd tier poor team like LSU will have to decide if they want to pay players and have a hungry young cheaper coach or if they want to go cheap paying players and go all in on a dinosaur who takes all the program's money.

There will be other losses from this class. I think LSU will lose the 5 star recruits to schools with more money.

Let’s see where the class is ranked after signing day .

I wonder how them getting rid of the National Letter of Intent will affect this. I guess instead of an NLI, now they are signing the actual financial aid/payment agreement.

Need to see how far the Underwood bag will go if they throw it at Keelon Russell.

Legitimate Answer: Joe Burrow demonstrates that LSU can pull a QB out of the portal and develop a Heisman Trophy winning QB. It's been done before, it can be done again.

I wonder if Woody was the reason Brady left?

I remember when Stovall was HC.

Mack Brown was the QB Coach. We played Nebraska in the Orange Bowl to a narrow loss, and they were National Champions. Stovall was National Coach of the year. It was reported in "The Advocate" that AD, Broadhead, refused to give Brown a raise, so he left. The team struggled the next season and Stovall was fired.
History repeats.

he stupidity here is amazing. No you don't need an elite QB to win a championship. Last year. Duh. You do need an elite defense.

IMO everyone talking about quality QB on the roster. That may be true but if Nuss comes back and we get someone out of the portal why would those guys hang around?
That bumps them further down on the depth chart
