FWIW, it was a school policy he violated, not a football policy, so it is not up to the staff to decide when he returns. Thank Bahnsen and compliance for more self imposed bullshite.

Unacceptable...total incompetence by our administration and support staff to not keep players eligible if this is an academic issue. Garbage.

Lots of overreaction in this thread. Will he be missed? Absolutely. But he is a guard and LSU has a couple guys they can plug in there and be fine

What if it was an honor code violation for cheating? Would you still blame the compliance staff? Steven Ridley had to fight that issue before the Cotton Bowl.
