winning six championships!

LSU Baseball

Mike VII flashing the "L".

Representing LSU every day with my “L”. Not that I’m recommending face tattoos. My design is natural.

CPM has changed his recruiting philosophy 3 times since being at LSU. He originally recruited big strong guys with the old bats and won a National Championship. They changed the bats and the park in Omaha so he started recruiting smaller faster guys to play in that park but didn’t have the success. Then they changed the balls and he is now going to a hybrid of the two styles. The 2017 runner up team was a good mix of speed with some pop in the lineup and a great defensive team.

Also he just hired a coach that is in the mold of the moneyball type of offensive strategy. On base percentage and OPS are king and working pitch counts is important. This is an exact opposite of the hitting philosophy at LSU since CPM got here which has been an attacking style from the moment you step in the box.

Is that enough?

Les Miles took LSU to 2 NC games in 12 seasons. Not many CFB coaches can say that. So, bad example.

Many dumb arse moves by PM to member why we have only won one championship with him as manager.

It is called "Idiot Rantard". Those two extra letters are just too much for a moron to have to trouble themselves over. It is an automatic idiot alert that informs me to not pay attention or finish reading the moronic gibberish being presented.

And who was responsible for bringing in the talent? Oh yeah, Les.

Remember when Poche started his senior season in 2017 by throwing a no-hitter against Army? I remember...I was there.

Five of the six national championships were won by Skip. 11 of the 18 appearances were by Skip. Skip was 5 for 11 winning championships (45%). Since then we are 1 for 7 (14.5%).

LSU dominated college baseball for a decade and built a fan base and program second to none. Smoke and CPM took that elite program and underachieved.

I remember the days of planning my early summer around the College World Series with confidence that LSU would be there and stay for a while. Personally, I’d fire CPM in a heart beat just to give us a chance to find another coach who can bring that back.

You are going to be disappointed with the next baseball coach. Whoever he is, whenever he gets hired.
