Can somebody explain to me how they "got" Will Wade?
I know there's the letter of allegations, but I mean, it's been years since that wire tap thing. Surely he didn't do anything after that?
Which player(s) did they catch him offering "inducements" to?

It's gonna suck, but LSU did the correct thing. At least on the Football side, you have a great coach to guide you through.
Woodward's job now becomes jumping the NCAA's arse and insuring that ALL schools involved in the FBI probe get hammered as well. Don't become the scapegoat and allow Auburn, Kansas, and others to walk free.

So for all of you who think LSU should not have let Wade go, what would you have done? The evidence against him is mountainous. Do you really think the school would fare better if we stuck with him until they totally throw the book at us?
And watching a Will Wade coached game can be excruciating. We lost at least 5 or 6 games this year at the end due to his ineptitude. We should have 27 or 28 wins. It is street ball.

Could it be impossible to believe that the FBI may have had more damaging evidence on Kansas, Kentucky, N. Carolina and Auburn, but held them back to pursue Wade?

The FBI claims to have thousands of hours of wiretapped conversation that were never introduced into evidence so it's possible others programs will skate.
