Simmons has been hard to coach and a shitty teammate in the pros which, not odd at all, is how he was at LSU.
His coach (Doc Rivers who is a major POS backstabber) and team threw him under the bus even though he was an all star and POY.

The only thing you need to teach him to do is to shoot right handed. At 26 it is possible.

I don't care about free throws. He could do that lefty or righty.

Simmons was a pretty good player when he was here. But you get the sense he was going through the motions. Also he seems like a dick. When you say “LSU basketball greats”, nobody thinks of Ben Simmons

Heard he stood up the whole game because every time he saw an open seat, he passed it off to a teammate. #dadjoke

Why was there a need for 'playoff security'?

All of the haters in this thread wanted to blame Simmons for the one season he was here instead of Johnny Jones. Probably posted how much better LSU would be when he was gone.

Probably don't remember all the complaining about Ben not taking over the scoring in games started with Dick Vitale. Why the f would you want a player with a weak jumper at 18 yo take over scoring???

[quote]Yeah he was great, how many tourney games did he win again?

Greatness is hinged on what?
How many NCAA titles did
Pete Maravich
Shaq and his team of all time LSU greats BB players win?
If Simmons was on this team, its final four babeee. They would probably win it all.

I will never consider Ben Simmons an LSU Tiger....what a joke it was getting this guy. Didn't want to shoot at LSU and can't shoot in the NBA.
