LSU Golf on Fire - Shoots -26 for Tourney (-19 for the day) - Wins by 18 shots

The LSU's men's golf team finished day 1 at -7, then fell behind by 5 shots after day 2, and won by by 18 shots on the final day 3. Nathan Jeansonne shot -7 and was on fire on the back nine. Sam Burns shot -4 with birdies on the last 2 holes. Eric Ricard shot -4. LSU threw out a 71 in the final round from Brandon Pierce, who had a great tournament finishing in 6th place. Zach Wright won 1st place in the individual title, shooting -12 and won by 2 shots. LSU ran away with the tournament. All of LSU's 5 golfers finished in the top 20 in the individual race. That is unheard of.

Being that I don't really follow collegiate golf, I'm curious how we are defending national champs and are absolutely destroying these other teams yet we are ranked 28th??

Current ranking based on Fall play. We didn't play really well in the Fall, although we didn't play bad enough to be ranked 25.
