Pitching is clearly what this team needs, and this is an arm that Coach J is familiar with. Let's see how it goes.

There’s no roster limit for fall. He may just be looking for a chance to prove himself and thought this would be the best place to do it rather than with the new Zona staff

Good point

He’s been battling injuries since 2019 so not much to know. Just looks to be a project for the pen.

Hey, if Johnson & Kelly see potential in Bryce I'm all in!

Is he in a summer league or still recuperating?

I haven't found him in any summer leagues, but I didn't look too hard because it really seems like he's had a rough time getting back from TJ. In looking around, what I can say about him is that he can sling it when he's healthy. Short, compact windup and delivery (Ty Floydish) with movement (Hillardish).

Sounds a lot like Hillard 2.0…. Hopefully can contribute similarly…

LHP from AZ has been on the board for awhile - it could only have been Cooper or Irvin and here we are. I've had long standing word of an OF coming from AZ, too...may have changed, but something to pay attention to. Casagrande or Chase Davis would be in play.

A lot of Arizona players entered the transfer portal after we hired Coach J. Having a player like Berry follow him to BR was a great sign, but apparently we're not done yet.

The OF angle could have been to hedge against losing Gio, Dugas, and Pearson. Well, we have all 3.

Must be half decent if Johnson allowed him to transfer here!
