Looks like a nerd. We've had some pretty successful nerds here.
Also, looks like he had TJ in 2019 and has had some issues with the surgery, maybe even had to go back in.

Video from MLB’s 2018 draft tracker shows FB 91-92 and a big overhand CB.
Had surgery after pitching a few innings in 2019. According to one article it sounds like he had issues with the recovery that probably wasn’t helped by not being able to use their facilities during the shut down and even into last Fall.

It would have to be a regular redshirt. He could use a medical redshirt if he happened to get hurt again. That is how guys played 6 years before the covid season.
1-RS Freshmen
2-Freshmen
3-Sophmore Injured Medical Redshirt
4. Junior

There’s no roster limit for fall. He may just be looking for a chance to prove himself and thought this would be the best place to do it rather than with the new Zona staff

He played so 2019 would have counted as a season unless the medical hardship waiver was granted.

Well he was apparently talented enough for the twins to draft him in the 39th round out of high school, so might as well give him a shot and see if he can make the team. Can't hurt at this time of the year.
