If LSU beats Georgia, the more convincingly the better, LSU could get top seed forcing Ohio State into a semi-final game with Clemson.

If LSU loses to Georgia, that could put LSU in as the number 4 seed to play Ohio State in the semis. I dont care what any Ohio State fan says, thats not the match they want. They want Utah.

The best outcome for Ohio State might be a close LSU win over Georgia, where Ohio State stays number one and LSU stays at 2.

LSU should move to number one with any win over Georgia, but this committee seems biased so far.

I do think the more convincing a win LSU has, the better its chances.

If we have to beat Georgia, Clemson and Ohio State to win it all, so be it. Bring em on.

If UGA wins they move LSU to #3 so OSU avoids us and we get Clemson

Incorrect. They are not putting a 1 loss conference champion who just beat LSU behind LSU.

The committee keeps telling us they believe Ohio State is the better team.

Doesn't matter what metric they're using or how they've come to that determination.

They'll have to lose or struggle with Wisconsin. I know it's hard to beat a good team twice in the same season, but.... I think there is a significant talent and scheme gap between these 2 teams.

The best we can hope for is a 3-7 point win by Ohio State and a dominant win by LSU... maybe that would move us above them... but even so, I think we land at #2.

LSU would much rather play Utah than OSU/Clemson too. That's common sense.

Biased because they don't have the SEC teams as high as the AP/Coaches poll, which are biased as well?

No because that would mean we are 5-0 against top 10 matchups this year.

1) Ohio State, 2) LSU, 3) Clemson, 4) Georgia, 5) Utah, 6) Oklahoma, 7) Baylor, 8) Wisconsin, 9) Florida, 10) Penn State.

I see Florida on the list. Georgia if LSU wins will be added. Wisconsin may/will fall out of the top 10 if OSU beats them badly. Auburn may sneak in if Baylor/OU/Utah gets smacked down.

Could be 3

If LSU beats georgia LSU will be ranked in top 4 if they were to lose, LSU will be ranked in top 4 but Ed O wants to leave no doubt and he wants a guarantee in the top 4. Ed O wants to make a statement vs Georgia. Also Ed O gets a nice bonus check if LSU wins the sec champ game so he wants to win. Win that game and I'm sure wisconson will do their job vs Ohio st acorns. But a serious question, all the LSU fans that post LSU should be #1 ranking, are you the same fans that don't go to LSU games or not going to the sec championship game and just voicing your opinion behind a screen? That makes zero sense to me, get your lazy arse up and support LSU by going to the game.

Common sense says both Cinn and Michigan should have dropped way more than one spot after last week compared to Bama dropping 7 spots. Bama lose on the road by 3 with a backup QB. Michigan lost by 30 at home. Tell me what's wrong with that picture.

Georgia would be elevated over LSU in this scenario.

Ohio State
Clemson
Georgia
LSU

Ohio State has 2 right now. Could be 3. Or 1. Or 0.

True. And it would be glorious to beat OSU in the semis. I'm thinking that would be in Atlanta right????

If Georgia wins LSU is out. Book it. They don’t respect the sec this year because...no bama. Better beat Georgia or it’s a disaster. They won’t put 2 1 loss power 5 champions behind a 1 loss non champion. Book it.

You're reaching on this one.

The ability to attend games does not give anyone more of a right to voice their opinion on such matters.

families, life and location are unavoidable hindrances.

It also has nothing to do with the team's ranking.

not a chance.

Utah and OU both have terrible losses to unranked teams.

they're both playing good teams in their conference championships but LSU would have to look abysmal and one of them win by a lot to just toss out a Team with LSU's resume.

He wont because there is no logical reasoning for it other than the committee's bias. Which he doesnt want to admit to.
