Problem with statements like that is "beaten to a pulp" is a subjective thing and everybody thinks of it differently. Somebody could have seen the exact picture shown earlier, and thought that it was the worst thing they had ever seen, and others would think it's nothing.
That's why these things usually take some time to sort out, the cops have to figure out what really happened vs. the hyperbole and wildly differing accounts from all the witnesses.

Secondly, I never defended Harris, he messed up and got what he deserved, and all I've said about DT was that I didn't think he should be suspended for being a passenger. Maybe you got me confused.
