Yet another reason fans need to read this and take action.
(FWIW, I actually like Steve Ensminger and think he's a solid assistant, but for it to come out at this particular moment that anyone is getting a raise or extension is laughable)

I don't think anyone at football ops is deserving of any kind of raise or extension at this point honestly.

Can I get a job over there? Million dollar buyouts for unqualified personnel, highest coordinator salaries, raises and extensions when failing to meet objectives... what a sweet gig!

I'm sure he loves knowing that Canada is paid a cool million per year more than him. Actually he probably doesn't care. He's not petty.
The biggest takeaway from that article is that Grimes's salary needs to be cut in half and shifted to Austin Thomas. Grimes can take it or get the frick out.

Good grief, within the next couple of years (hopefully sooner) they're going to have to clean out the entire coaching staff and they're giving raises and extensions? Who in the hell is running things? F King squawks all day about the lack of money for the school yet the athletic department is bleeding money to coaches and an AD that are going to have to be bought out? It's a madhouse at LSU right now, the ramifications of what these few incompetent and very stupid men are doing will resonate at that school for years to come. It truly is going to be difficult to ever dig out of the hole they are enlarging on a daily basis.

I mean Ensminger is a decent coach and got a $25k raise and one year extension. I’m fine with that.

The only way we should be giving any raises to Ensminger at this moment in time is if he was being promoted to interim HC for the rest of this season
