Looks like MB lost the COVID weight so that’s good

Looks like he lost a bit of it. Still got the makings of a double chin and i think a small gut is hiding under that tshirt.

Certainly not something he cant drop in a months time or anything, but he still doesn't look close to as in shape as Max.

Think of it as your social media arm presenting a true position competition. Could be a plus for recruiting.

I am old enough to remember this board telling Myles he needs to gain 35-45 lbs. No longer a skinny kid. Grown man at QB now.

It’s exciting. For so many years we couldn’t even find one SEC caliber QB. Now I have no doubt we have 2 guys that can win any game you put them in and the depth is growing with Nussmeier and Howard otw as well. My hope is that whoever doesn’t win the starting job doesn’t transfer because they’d be 1 play away from being the man and otherwise we’d be 1 play away from a true freshman having to start again.

Is it just me or does Myles Brennan have terrible hair?

Let's add that to the reasons he can't start

The wattle under his chin determined that was a lie.

It's Johnson. I appreciate Brennan's loyalty to the program but it's Johnson.

Regardless of what happens this year, I am impressed with Brennan. He has transformed his body from being a twig to looking like a legit P5 starting QB who can take a hit or two.

I guarantee Brennan takes that first snap against UCLA. I don't think we will see a two QB rotation but whoever the starter is they will be on a short leash.

I do think if that is the case then there is a better chance that Johnson would transfer out. I don't think Brennan would transfer out at this point. But I do agree, I pray that both of them stick it out here.

That makes no sense. This is year 5 for Brennan. If he loses this competition, there is no chance (barring injury) that he is ever the starter here. Of course he transfers to somewhere he can start and get a shot at the NFL: If Johnson isn’t named starter, he’s the favorite to start next year and has almost no reason to transfer.

He really doesn’t need to transfer. The NFL has enough film on him to do a decent evaluation. With some in person workouts, he would most definitely be drafted and likely no less than 3rd round.

Now it’s a different story altogether if he wants the best chance to be drafted higher. The family isn’t hurting for cash and he might just want to stay and finish? Idk what his plans would be and I’m sure he doesn’t even know at this point. He wouldn’t be drafted real high into the first but he could still get a late 1st or early 2nd round pick with his talent.

He’d have to perform in every event he possibly could do that he could get the attention of a franchise but imo he’d impress enough to be drafted no less than 3rd round with workouts and the tape that’s available. He’s got way too much talent for some team not to take a shot. No way that happens.

He will be hunting open receivers this fall to embarrass DB's around the league.

(Making no assumptions he will be the starter either.)
