The Tiger Rant Perfect Season is when LSU has an undefeated national championship team and the coach is fired. Wish i was joking.

Pretty self explanatory but to dumb it down for you the same issues have plagued him no matter where he’s been.

Unable to adjust during games offensively, predictable play calling, red zone woes, teams are unprepared in big games.

Yep, Straight A's in English all the way through College. It's a sports site. If you can't read 10 - 11 sentences then it might be a you problem. Don't care.

So the same complaints we hear of every other coach?

Well, to be fair, there are a lot of articles being published that say Kelly should be on the hot seat. Not showing results for a $100 m coach. Kelly has hit his ceiling. Kelly can't recruit players needed in the SEC,etc .

I don't like ND fans telling us "we told you so" or college football fans around the country reading about our over-rated coach. I personally think we got very lucky getting into the SEC championship game that first year.

I don’t know what you hear about other coaches but this has been Kelly’s MO for over a decade. Are you going to pretend you and most of the Rant didn’t laugh at him for this when he was at ND?

Have they?

Just looking at the red zone statement, I would bet that if I looked at numbers, it's actually been a mixed bag, as it is with every coach.

The criticisms around preparation and playcalling are exclusively made by people who have zero knowledge of what any of that actually looks like.

The "big game" thing has proven to be a confirmation bias talking point, a game that BK loses ostensibly turns into a "big game," if he wins, the other team was suddenly overrated.

Nah, I've always viewed him as a good coach.

Was Alabama in '22 a big game. Was Ole Miss this year a big game? What you mean is he doesn't win every big game correct? Again don't misunderstand.I think the criticism is deserved but to throw the '22 season. The prolific '23 offense with e Heisman QB and the 2 trips to the playoffs while at ND out the window is ridiculous.( I assume he had to win some big games to get there correct?)

2020 Beat FL ST on road and #1 Clemson. I would call those big games.

2021 Beat FL ST again in opener and USC. I would call those big games

Again you guys keep throwing around the word "never" . That word isn't in my vocabulary. Just like JJ would never win a Natty here. JD would never be a great QB.Matt Mcmahon would never have a winning program at LSU. You never guys crack me up.Now I may end up wrong on this but we really won't know that till 2026.

Many posters wanted Aranda gone after the Ole Miss game in 2019

You do understand there’s a difference between beating a good team every once in awhile (Kelly 33% at LSU) and beating them consistently right? Btw I haven’t used the term “never” so again you’re making things up.

The Rant has one of the best track records at being wrong.

You do realize there is a difference between 0% and 33% correct? There have been lots of posts here that say Kelly never wins the big games. Again, the armchair QB's can never tell me who they should have hired. And the O nuthuggers are upset with 10 win seasons but never seem to be upset with losing record in 2020 & 2021. It's amazing.

So you’re accusing me of saying things I haven’t said because you claim other people say it. And just for the cherry on top you also include these final two groups which I’m a part of neither so again not sure what you’re trying to say.

You didn't say they "never win big games", you just said they aren't prepared for big games.

I said it’s part of the trend with his losses in big games.

We're not winning the SEC this year, but you have no idea how next year plays out. Heck, we could be challenging Vandy and SCar for the SEC title!

Personally I’m not nearly as emotionally invested in CFB as I was 5 years ago. I don’t agree or enjoy the NIL stuff and I don’t find the watered down sport compelling so when I talk about this stuff I’m just calling balls and strikes. Your error is thinking I’m pissed off or angry about the situation so you begin from a faulty starting point when you view what I’m saying. I still like to watch LSU and I hope we win but I don’t view it the same way I did before all this crap. I say this so you’ll understand my takes aren’t coming from a hair on fire, emotional place at all.
