if Crowton can put his offense together.

this is where you and many others are missing the boat

What you see on the field IS his offense "put together" - dont for one second think that he's some mad scientist with a master playbook locked in a chest. He is not the offensive genius everyone purported him to be.

and you are a moron. No one knows who lsu76 is. But people that cover CFB know who LSU is and they are not impressed. As has been noted we have been on upset alert 3 of 4 weeks. The team is not playing well. Being a crititiger as Tuba said is not wrong or an embarrassment. Anyone that thinks negatigers have an impact on the team or the recruits is an embarrassment.

we should be 4-0

agree, but so should many other teams that aren't

only because teams ahead of us lost

many of those teams lost to opponents that had no business beating them. yet our fans are the ones acting as though we're 0-4.

being critical doesn't mean we are railing.

not everyone is being 'critical'. there are MANY railing on the program.

There are many one-loss teams that are playing much better than LSU.

they are still ONE LOSS TEAMS. We are still 4-0

if memory servers me correctly we were in this very same position last year after 4 games (4-0 & top 5 ranking). I'm sure i don't have to remind you how the last 8 games in 08 ended up. The sad thing is I actually had a lot more confidence in last year's team at this point than i do this years.

Our fans are not becoming a National embarrassment. LSU fans have been a National Embarrassment for many years prior to this one. Look at it this way--if Joe Fan is obsessing and agonizing over the actions of 18-22 year old amateurs and spewing unfounded criticism, he is likely to make those around him as miserable as he is.

I will never understand how our fans refuse to simply enjoy the unique and remarkable Tiger football experience. This is supposed to be fun--personally, I thought that goal line stand and punt return were fun to watch, some of the best plays I've seen in 50 years of following the Tigers. You sure wouldn't know it by reading all this crap and listening to the talk shows.

Poor play and utilization of talent have an effect on recruiting. If critical fans have an effect, than why aren't recruits lining up to go to Tulane? Their fanbase seems to lack critics. You don't ever hear negativity out of them.

with a 4-0 team, ranked in the top 5, but with a a fan base that is railing on the program, coaches, and players like we were 0-4. This grumbling is already being picked up by the national media, can effect recruiting, and makes us look stupid to real fans around the country such as with OK, GA, PS,OK, OSU, FSU, ND, Cal, tOSU, and other top programs who wish they were 4-0. We can be a good team if Crowton can put his offense together. The defense is greatly improved. You negatigers affect the morale of the team and shame the program with your vile antics. Georgia has the same talent as do we, have lost one game, and won 2 last second games to inferior teams, but their fans are far more optimistic than you grumblers. Let's see how two even teams play on Saturday.

It's real simple, we don't have to judge now, let's see how the next 5 games play out. You willing to say that there won't be a couple absolutely embarrasing beat-downs in that time? You willing to say we win more than 2 of those games (UGA, UF, AU, Tulane, Bama)?

From what I've seen so far, this season and last, I bet both our lines get dominated regularly and there are a number of lack-of-discipline penalties/plays indicative of a poorly coached team.

Disagree?

If my son and I are walking in the woods and I see a poisonous snake that if my son keeps going in the direction he's going in, he will probabably get bit. Are you saying I'm not suppose to alert my son? This is the way I think alot of fans feel about the team they LOVE.... Change your direction so bad stuff will not get you.

Sizzling and feisty sounds exactly like Buddy Songy-local radio sports talk show host in B.R. La. You quote these words and then turn around and say these really aren't the words that they used.?????

griping like scorned bitches and brats.

Your words-not national media.

At this level of competition you don't get congrats for playing poorly and mom doesn't bring cookies no matter win or lose. These fans still support this team;however, they are realists and are certainly within their rights to be critical of this team's performance. Top tier programs are tough to build and even harder to maintain.

These types enjoy pointing out all the negative aspects. It's how they get their kicks.

Same douchebags that were criticizing LSU after losing to Kentucky in the year we won the BCS and destroyed OSU.

That loss really should have kept us out of the BCS. We got lucky with Pitt losing. I'm thrilled that we are 4-0. But I'm also consistently aware that Miles has sloppy teams. And sloppy teams do not dominate. This program should be dominant. At the same time, I think college football is changing drastically every year. I doubt we'll see many undefeated teams anymore. There's more and more parity and fan expectations are a little bit behind the curve. I guess my point is that everything is a shade of gray. Several opposing ideas can be true at the same time. I am both thrilled that we are 4-0, ranked #4, and in position to have a great year if a few things get fixed. I'm also concerned that those things will not get fixed.

Yes, I'm in the Woodlands but don't go to BW3's for games too often, too many young kids. I think the last game we went to BW3's for was the Oklahoma NC game. I miss it, used to go to the one in Rice Village pretty often.
