You definitely need one of these.

So, he went and played for Georgia, but cheers for a major rival in Auburn? How'd that work out? Was he not recruited by Auburn or something?

I grew up in Baton Rouge all the way through high school but went to ULM because I was interested in pharmacy and they offered a pre-pharmacy major. My dad and I went to many LSU football and baseball games when I was growing up. Needless to say I'm a huge LSU fan despite being in Monroe finishing up school.

I have friends who grew up in Baton Rouge but wanted to live farther away from home for college and went to other SEC schools (Auburn/Ole Miss) and they still root for LSU over their own alma maters

Born in BR, lived there until I was 14, then moved to Austin. Came back to attend LSU before eventually transferring to Sam Houston St. Wore LSU stuff around campus the whole time—even worked for the Bearkat Sports Network while usually wearing my LSU cap. It’s okay, though. I had a SHSU lanyard.

The team you cheer for is a choice. I lived in Metro ATL for 30 years but remained a Tiger as I had been since I was a kid.

This is my secret reason for wanting to move the family to Baton Rouge from Atlanta. Couldn’t stand the thought of my kid thinking he was a Georgian.

He’s so in love with Baton Rouge now, we can move anywhere and he’ll know where is home.

Georgia Southern Alum (grad school) LSU (undergrad). LSU 100% but also support GSU 100% unless they play each other.

I grew up in Ponchatoula a big LSU fan it was a dream school of mine. Then Katrina came and I moved to Pensacola with my mom to finish highschool, by then I was considered a resident of Florida and got a scholarship to attend a Florida school so I picked Florida State (mainly because I hate the Gators) I went to many FSU sporting events and would cheer them on but I knew if LSU ever came to town I would be wearing Purple and Gold.

There's no other team/school like LSU man. Just like there's no state like Louisiana. Geaux Tigers.
