George knows more than me but I vaguely recall LSU having plans to refurbish the Pmac and keep it for practice facilities and coaching offices besides remaining the home of volleyball and gymnastics

When, and if, they officially find out they don't get to sniff the new arena

I'm old fashioned, but I wish they would level it and rebuild there. Same with the old box

Just bulldoze Tigerland and put it there

Great idea, but LSU does not own that land. It would be a needless additional expense for the project and a major PITA dealing with all the various landowners to acquire the necessary parcels in Tigerland that would be required to build the new arena development and parking infrastructure.

Lmaooo

But yeah pretty sure that was Kim Mulkey’s main complaint. I hope she gets to see it come to fruition before she retires at least…she is undeniably a huge catalyst for actually getting anything done

Exactly, after a natty..and for men's program to keep up...basketball must have this.
I'm sorry, volleyball, can get bent,

bringing in zero interest or dollars ...they'll be fine playing in the PMAC still.

When will they build walkways over Nicholson? They've needed at least 2 for a while. Its not safe, plus it holds up traffic, to have so many people walking across Nicholson for school and sporting events.

What will happen to the old PMAC? Will the building be demolished and something else placed there?

I don’t really give a shite about volleyball but I do like winning. The Tonya chick might be the only hire Woodward has made that hasn’t gotten any results whatsoever. But Texas is elite and she’s an alum so I get the logic.

But yeah Kim is goat. I’ll never not laugh seeing people on here question any of her decisions lmao

Agree with walkway over Nicholson idea. It would be an excellent location for a huge Welcome to Death Valley sign you would drive under entering the campus.

Great idea. Several super wide pedestrian bridges would be clutch,

We always knew that when they continued to let the course deteriorate over the last 10+ years.

They're keeping it. Will be used for gymnastics, office space, etc.

Walkways over Nicholson would be relatively easy. The problem is the walkway would also have to go over the railroad tracks which run parallel to Nicholson and therein lies the rub (to quote Hamlet).

When the new Alex Box was built LSU tried to get the railroad to agree to a walkway over their tracks and the RR said, "That's a 'no' from me, dawg."

LSU should buy up tigerland and Raze it to the ground. Then build something positive there.

In fact all the malignant hoods around LSU should be bought, bulldozed and rebuilt
