Al Davis, Missouri
When LSU hired defensive coordinator Blake Baker, he brought two Missouri assistants to Baton Rouge. LSU could go back to that well with Al Davis.
Davis and Baker worked together at Missouri. Davis has proven he can recruit and develop. In 2024, Missouri’s defensive tackle tandem was one of the best in the SEC. He’s familiar with the region after working at Arkansas, too.
If LSU wants to hire a coach familiar with Baker’s system and SEC experience, Davis is the guy.
