I live in searcy just 50 miles from Conway , lived here all my life and was raised a tiger fan , and I am raising my son as a tiger fan, ur right arkansas people hate lsu from kids to their grandparents. My dad says it goes all the way back to the 60,s when Arkansas was un defeated and played lsu in a bowl game which lsu won!!! Lot of lsu purple and gold here since Katrina . Lot of years arkansas last game of the year against lsu has bn their bowl game just like this year will be. . I hope we beat the hell out em

I live in Springdale and work in Fayetteville. At least once per week I get flipped off in my jeep due to the LSU tire cover and license plates. The S-whiners do hate us, it's the little guy envy issue. They want us as rivals so bad and we just ignore them

The other day Jim Lindsey (ex piggy player, big money supporter) walked up to me in a restaurant and wanted to buy the LSU hat off my head so he could stomp on it...I smiled and said "You don't have enough money Jim" you gotta love them, they're pathetic...

forever!!!

Well that makes sense because I hate Arkansas way more than any other school and I don't really have a good reason

I think I'm still upset about them beating us in 2007 which at the time I thought killed our National Title hopes and I was devastated.

Come to think of it that's also the reason I still don't like Danny Mccray

I grew up in Arkansas and a lot of Arkansas fans do in fact hate LSU. Nothing is worse than a hog homer either. I had one tell me that LSU's and Arkansas' baseball programs were very comparable

Driving through Little Rock one time, I had the store clerk at a Shell station pop off at me about my LSU hat. I just laughed. He ended up following me out to my car ranting about CLM and clock management issues. It was surreal.

It is a constant up here...kinda becomes brown noise after all. They're a arrogant bunch that's delusional about their program...greatest fans, best teams yada yada yada...I love their disappointment when reality hits...

We're border states and the only SEC in each state so is a natural rivalry. Been a pretty good rivalry over the years with some hard fought games. Guess you would kind of expect that type of treatment.
