I have had an older fan bring the cops into our section during a game because I was standing. Luckily, a family friend sitting near knew the cop and told him that the older guy was just being a dick. Rule of thumb: stadium club is fun for small games, but don't sit in there during SEC games.

f I were sitting in front of your grandma I would quickly recognize the situation and adjust my behavior accordingly. As I similarly would keep my flask in my pocket and my curse words to myself in the immediate vicinity of your kid(s). However, to categorically say "no standing" is fricking stupid. Those other people paid good money to come cheer and have a good time.

The best part is when those exact same people that complain about people standing are the ones that leave early, and their excuse is I paid for the tickets so I can do what I want with them.

As with most things, this middle answer is correct. Of course, it requires people to act like they're not the only person in the whole wide world, so it's unlikely this advice will be heeded.

Me? I love standing for sporting events as it helps release the pent of energy of watching the game while not being able to play. Hell...I tend to stand a bunch at home while watching. However...my seats are in the EU deck and there are people behind me that have little kids and plus I'm 6'3" so me standing can be in the way of even a small woman behind me. So, I don't just stand up all game long even though I'd like to in an effort to be courteous to the folks behind me.

However, I'll jump at big plays and will obviously stand up the whole game if others in front of me are preventing me from seeing the game. At that point, I can't solve the problem for those behind me.

You want a REAL problem? I got told to stop yelling on defensive plays LAST YEAR by some old lady for the USCe game in Tiger Stadium. Said I was being "too loud." In Tiger Stadium... That I'll go down swinging about...

She probably shouldn't be going to games or she should have a front seat somewhere that no one can block her view.

So who do they kick out the person in row 1 standing? I will stand if the person on front of me stands.

I was in the suite for the alabama game and kept getting yelled at by the suite on the side of me for standing and cheering. If i wasn't sober I would of throat punched him. It s the damn bama game for crying out loud :doublebird: :doublebird: :doublebird: :doublebird: :doublebird: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

In one way that's really funny, but in another, so sad.

Doesn't just apply to the Stadium Club. Once in the STUDENT SECTION we were in an area where most of the "students" were sitters and would complain to the game marshals if we stood up at all, even on a big play. We were told we had to sit as well or we would be kicked out. Apparently it was the "sit down" section.

Perhaps this is the best answer for handicap style seating. Regardless, if someone uses a wheelchair they might have other disabilities hindering them from standing all game. The Student section lacks in this area where most of the time it would be front row of the concourse. Just a thought.

But your seat is in the STANDS.

If it were up to me, I would stand the entire game. I'm nervous AF, or excited, or pissed off, depending on the score. No matter the score, I feel like standing.

However, if the majority of the Stadium Club wants you to sit down, you should sit.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do.
