Doesn't just apply to the Stadium Club. Once in the STUDENT SECTION we were in an area where most of the "students" were sitters and would complain to the game marshals if we stood up at all, even on a big play. We were told we had to sit as well or we would be kicked out. Apparently it was the "sit down" section.

Is that to address the hefty old lady that sits at the window near 559 and eats the whole game and then complains when you are OUTSIDE watching the game and conversing with people and SHE can't see?

My friend was escorted out of the South Club during the first half of the Ole Miss game by state troopers after he expressed displeasure over someone inside at the window on a bar stool asking him to sit down. When the troopers came down to his seat to say something to him, he had the nerve to ask why they didn't just suggest to the complainer that they go sit in their own seat. Alcohol was not an issue. They just told him to come inside with them and then took him onto the elevator and out of the stadium. He is the seat holder - not a guest or someone who bought a ticket for just that game as the complainers seemed to be. I wouldn't be surprised if this BS in the newsletter was a reaction to that incident. So, anyone thinking of standing up the whole game to protest this ridiculous "warning" from LSU, be aware. FWIW, I've sat on the West side for decades and have never had a problem. We stand anytime the situation calls for it.

If I were sitting in front of your grandma I would quickly recognize the situation and adjust my behavior accordingly. As I similarly would keep my flask in my pocket and my curse words to myself in the immediate vicinity of your kid(s). However, to categorically say "no standing" is fricking stupid. Those other people paid good money to come cheer and have a good time.

frickin right. Time to buy Stadium Club seats. If I wanted to stand the whole time I wouldn't buy a SEAT.
