Time to update again with Mason Lunsford retiring.

Yep, I’m on it.

Damn, that defense needs some help. I would have thought we could have brought in at least one defensive tackle from the portal with starting experience.

Can anyone confirm if Joel Rodgers is an early enrollee? The picture that BK tweeted it looks like he is in it but the image in this thread doesn't say he's enrolling early.

He’s lucky that kind of cancer didn’t kill him

Anderson has done zero to justify his billing. I think he will be wearing a different uniform next year.
OL is going to take a huge step back in 2025.
I hope that Major can take that Damone Clark step this year.

I agree. There must be someone else competing there besides a rs frosh and a true frosh. Do you think they might give Dellinger another try?

Don't think so. We will see more traditional run plays with Daniels gone and the damn good RB room we will have. The left side of line should be able to run block. I think they run behind Delly a lot. Last year Daniels made great runs from a lot of rpo and passing plays. Will be different with Nuss.

You have to look at Lunsford as a potential candidate, besides Echols and Cryer.

I think Lunsford is gone. There was previous talk about grooming Mubenga (spelling?), but don't know if that is still the plan. The freshmen you mention look good, but would prefer another choice for 2nd string with the a new starter for the year. We all trust Davis to get them ready, though.
A caveat to my freshmen comment is Ben Wilkerson had one of the best years ever for a center as a freshman. Too bad he had injuries that shortened his career.

I thought Brooks was still struggling with basic motor functions including speech.
I doubt LSU would just cut Brooks loose. Are there any allowances for situations like this, maybe similar to the NFL’s PUP list ?

Don't know but we lost big time recruits to SEC foes. WTF.

I'd say some of these guys are going to have to learn to play another position.

I really hope Saivion Jones doesn't start at DE. So slow and really didn't make any plays last year. I really hope it's Womack.

Burns is going to be hard to beat out.
