The line IQ is not great. I had to sue WD40 on the string in the spool for it to work. It would only feed half way to the cutters. Slow to release line. Probably the humidity of LA.

Long term your HE washers will fill your drain up with lint because not enough water is used to flush the junk to the city system. I had my washer drain cleaned yesterday and it was full of lint and other stuff, worst clog in 25 years.
I had Maytag Bravos for about 6 years, UL codes, small leaks, and not washing well. I now have a Magtag commercial which is a toy compared to the old style washing machines but it uses water and cleans my cloths.

Our floor does get cold, we have adjusted. I also had fungus rot on the sub floor in 2 of 3 front rooms and needed the sub floor and joist replaced. I put in more vents in the chain walls and water drainage. Our house was made before AC was used. The floor no longer sweats in the summer.

LSU Ag School Research says only “closed” cell but I would not do it. My neighbor (closed cell) had a toilet leak that rotted a 4’ x 6’ section of the sub floor. He noticed his tile floor getting spongey.
