Woodward doesn’t have the power to do anything. It’s a BOS, President, and governor decision since it’s effects the entire LSU system

Woodward has been in politics, specifically Louisiana politics for many years. Let’s not act like he doesn’t have the ability to get this done.

I do not understand why young men who "have it all in front of them" just cannot get their lives in order. This is not the fault of LSU. I wish him well though.

I mean you can ride Woody’s junk and say that he’s the best AD in the country and all that, but if he can’t get this simple thing done with the political connections he has, obviously he’s not THAT good. This is directly hurting our competitiveness and has for years and years.

SW is aiming to be the next president of the university. He doesn’t want to rock the boat too much if he can help it

Why is he allowed to go to another school and play immediately? Seems like he’d be ineligible everywhere else too.

School issue, not NCAA or SEC rules.

Weed is an LSU thing.

LSU Compliance

Sounds like it's more an issue of Dare Rosenthal compliance. Regardless of your stance on whether or not it should be legal and/or overlooked at LSU, that's the set of rules in place. He knew his playing time was on thin ice with regard to another positive test. If he can't lay off the weed knowing that he's been caught over and over and is facing dismissal then I question his dedication to the team and his own hard work. It hurts the depth but obviously he's not that interested in dedicating himself to being the best football player he can be.

LSU has long needed to adjust their compliance rules to align with our competitors. However, Rosenthal has been given several chances to get his stuff together. His early round draft potential has faded and pokes a hole in our OL depth. Hopefully Wire, Dumervil, and Hill are ready.

How many drug tests do you have to fail before you get to this point?

Why does anyone care if he smokes weed and why are we testing for it?

You sound like a child who wants to tell the teacher that Vol took something.

Here's an idea, don't read his posts.

I am grateful for any information posted on this board, regardless of where it comes from.
