a strong possibility that Dare Rosenthal has played his last snap at LSU

Is he done or not? Positive on a strong possibility? That’s not really positive at all tbh.

I hope it works out, but I also hope LSU wasn't relying on him to be available this season. I'm pretty sure he has been suspended for vary lengths of time literally every season he has been at LSU.

We can, and often do, blame compliance for going overboard. But (assuming the OP is true) this guy has been given multiple "second chances". At some point it fully on him, not compliance, and it becomes time to move on.

Positive of the situation, unclear on the outcome. They are working hard to find a way to work around this deal. May be a case of rules finally having to change though

Why is the title about compliance? How many times does he need to be told not to smoke lol

Do you have any insight as to why the rules haven’t been changed yet to put us on equal footing with the rest of the country?

Agreed. At some point it’s on the player and even the head coach. Another in a growing list of off the field embarrassment under Orgerons watch.

Woodward is surely taking note.

Jesus Christ only you could blame this on O. Get a life.

This is on Woodward for not changing policy. He’s had plenty of time

Exactly. Never have understood why people bitch about compliance when these guys continually get caught using an illegal drug after being suspended numerous times.

What? A dumb kid will be a dumb kid no matter who's in charge.

You really think they're not smoking weed at Georgia? Alabama? Clemson? they are, those schools just don't test for weed.

The coach can only do so much. The player has to accept the discipline and be ready to put the team above himself.

Woodward shouldn’t have to change policies to accommodate a head coach who obviously doesn’t have the respect of his players to follow rules they’ve been asked to follow more than once

Because at this point if they stop testing it, then other will start yelling “LSU is encouraging pot use in its athletes!”. They tucked themselves for ever starting the rule.

Woodward doesn’t have the power to do anything. It’s a BOS, President, and governor decision since it’s effects the entire LSU system

Exactly. The head coach needs to get through to the kids and hold the players accountable. If the kid won’t do it, then it’s on the kid.

Can’t blame compliance and the AD for lack of discipline within the program

Yes you can when the entire conference doesn't enforce the same LSU does.

We are talking weed here but as usual Louisiana is 50 yrs behind progress on it.
