Take 2 of 3 from UK next weekend and then things get considerably easier:

@Ole Miss (2-9)
Bama (4-7)
@Auburn (4-8)
MSU (2-9)
@UGA (1-9)

That'd be 21-8 or better.

Edited: also eff you South Carolina

Lots of opportunities for some pitchers to step up

We need to sweep 3 of those 5 which is very doable.

Damn didn't realize how our scheduled softened up like that after next weekend. Definitely need to take advantage.

It's been crazy. LSU really has been going through a gauntlet and has done about as well as you can ask

I agree for the most part but that some of those teams will find a groove and be better than the first half of the season.

This cancellation hurts our chances to win the overall title. Vandy hasn’t lost. kU only once.

Winning the SEC is nice, but honestly not very important. It certainly didn't hurt the women's basketball team this year.

They lost yesterday and still have to go through the tougher part of their schedule. We’re still in it.

This. No one remembers who wins the conf any more. It’s Omaha and natty or bust

Question is... Does the SEC have a chance at 5 National Seeds? Has that happened before?

Florida, LSU, Vandy, USC, and UK are all in position to land one.

UF, Vandy, USC, and UK are about to start beating each other up.

Wouldn’t be surprised with 4 Top 8 seeds (UF, LSU, Vandy, & Ark) and UK & USC hosting regionals.

Doubtful

And 4 of those 5 are in the East and all have to play each other. They could be the best 4 teams in the country, but just mathematically, it’s almost impossible all 4 will still be in line to get a national seed after conference play.

Ark and Tenn are better than Uk and I think Ark is better than USC and Vandy also

Vandy has played absolutely nobody

Was just looking at that myself. The SEC East is stacked this year. Potentially 3 national seeds out of that side of the conference. SEC West on the other hand... If LSU can't win the West this year, then that would be an extreme disappointment. Arkansas still has South Carolina, Tennessee, and Vandy left on the schedule.

What has TN done to indicate they are better than KY?

TN vs MO 0-3 Total scores of series 6-23
KY vs MO 3-0 Total scores of series 25-3

TN is supposed to have excellent pitching but gave up 23 runs and KY pitching shut down Mizzu
