These have been under see construction for months. Yet, the BOS decides they need a ground breaking ceremony across the street in the Business School courtyard. Just another waste of taxpayer money.

That's way too much money. The smarter way is to let private deveopers and real estate companies do the job. See TAMU and UT. Developers are building a new 6k seat volleyball arena, retail , next to Moody, and law student housing near the law school in Austin. No school money used. It is the smarter way.

LSU, Alabama and Ole Miss and I think Tennessee are seeing record numbers of out of state students, many from the Northeast who are heading south for college.

Everyone’s talking about parking but what about traffic?
