This board member is an unprofessional piece of fricking shite. He has no place sitting where he does as this Busch League bullshite play he's made is obviously personal.

FUCM

I recognize the issues at hand but he has a responsibility to act accordingly.

I think this is the general consensus.

From what I do know about Ronnie, his statement and timing are likely more strategic than personal.

I hope so.

Me too. I would love to see that with a promise from Miles after the game to be dedicated to being more creative and opening up the offense. I've been ready to move on but If Miles could get over being shell shocked from 2008 and make an effort to change his ways on the offensive side of things I might could get back behind him. I just don't think it's a possible though. Typical stubborn old coach that's too set in his ways.

bullshite. He's being a self-entitled pussy.

I'd like to punch him in the face myself. Oh, and I could do it.

Eta: in case it isn't obvious, he's pissed me off.

1/9 hangs over this program like a curse. The fact he hasn't been able to put together a squad that can beat Bama since that night. Well, that raises many difficult questions that may not have answers that are compatible with his continuing employment to say the least.

Just like Ohio state did to john cooper. Couldn't beat big blue.

It will never happen. Yeah right.

Such a shame that it would take this kind of scenario to bring out his best. He's in a pretty much lose lose situation. If he does bring out his best everyone will be calling him out for not doing it against bama and Arkansas, if he continues to coach like he has all month and loses he's more than likely going to be fired.

It's not just the loses, it's about not dominating an opponent to the finish.

Coming from someone who thinks the program has gotten stale this is embarrassing and shameful that the board member would air this out in the papers

I would say Alleva has mishandled some other things and it would not bother me one bit if he is on a short leash.

I'll admit I've been caught up in the coaching rumors myself, but we would be complete idiots to fire Miles if he wins the final 2 games with a 6-2 conference record. With the class he has coming in, there is an opportunity for a serious run the next two years. On the other hand, if we start looking like Chizik 2012 Auburn, that's another story.

Agree. It is the direction of the program overall. Is getting better, or getting worse. At best it's stagnant right now. Is talent being developed and used to its potential, or not.

I love people citing this, like we are supposed to be in awe of how cunning he is for posturing via a shockjock columnist over a football coach. He's your classic big fish in a small pond.

I try looking at the big picture here. Those two coaches have won titles at two diff schools other than chizik at Auburn.

So basically you are saying Les isn't better than 2 coaches in the country. Which he's beat with equal talent.

Meyer 06, Saban 11, Saban 12. Those games give Les 1 more national title and 2 more trips to Atlanta at the least.

The 2 best coaches in the country has kept Les from being considered the GOAT. That's how fine the margin has been.
