The margin is fine however, it has been groundhog day since 1/9/12

What a complete piece of shite, I've been critical, but damn. Completely unprofessional of this guy, I hope if Les is fired after a 2 loss season and our future going forward ends up like a Nebraska/Miami that this poor excuse for a human is given the proper blame.

There are far too many assumptions going on that this team will win out and go to a sugar bowl.
Nothing in the last two games has shown they can beat Ole Miss or A&M.
The team is regressing defensively and offensively and the special teams has been atrocious all season (with no visible proof of improving).
I think he gets one more season even if he loses out although I don't agree.
After last weeks post game conference I didn't see any fire or passion but one could take that with a grain of salt.
Either way this team is on the knife edge of falling into mediocrity but it's not a lost cause.

I'm no Les fan (as a coach) and I don't think he deserves all this shitstorm.

However, should we part ways with him, I do not believe other coaches will look at this and say no thanks.

The guy has been here 11 years. It would look way worse if he was only here for 3-5 years and we pulled this crap.

The BOS guy needs to learn to keep his trap shut and let the season play out

Agreed. But i do think he shouldn't be fired for losing two, but next year will probably be sec championship or bye bye.

You didn't ask me, but I'll offer my opinion.

The powers that be already have their minds made up and have probably put out "feelers" to coach's agents.

I am of the same opinion. At the least they are doing contingency plans in case it all goes South. Look the best way is for CLM to make changes and we win out. But a lot of folks are too pessimistic about that happening. CLM is a class act and has won many games. But in this day and age that may not be enough. Change is inevitable. Its how we go about it:).

TAF makes a big difference. LSU was playing for peanuts in the late 70s through late late 90s. Bob tried, but got undermined. Joe Dean was as short-sighted as they come. Emmert/TAF changed the playing field. LSU football isn't the penny-pinching shitfest it was back then. LSU has money to compete with every program except a handful.

Exactly. Times are different and mentality has changed from back then. Brodhead was competent but arrogant and volatile.

On a side not, he is why Arnsparger left for UF AD job. I think Arny's suggesting Archer to take the HC when he knew darn well he was not ready to be an SEC HC was his way to sticking it to LSU and Bob as he was on his way and Dean walked in. Arnsparger was a good HC but an arrogant arse in his own right.

In case this all goes south? This is an unstoppable shite storm. Do you honestly think other coaches will ignore this treatment of a winning coach. If you do, you are lying to yourself.

the Bama curse has to get lifted and I want Les to be the coach when it happens!

Lsu wins out and goes 9-2 - this bunch that would fire a

And for some that post on here, their hate for all things football related is Les#1, Alabama/Ole Miss #2&3, etc., etc., etc.

It's over. Let go. Miles is not going to beat Saban ever again. Saban can tell what we are going to do before we do it. Bert and other SEC coaches are watching film and catching on to the Miles Secret Playbook as well.

He hasn't won shite in years. It's more than the two losses this year.

I just hope we get a good hire. That's all that matters going forward.

Say what you will about Les Miles, for a member of the BOS to openly come out with this on the eve of game is pretty shitty.
Absolutely nothing that a BOS member says in public should have any effect on the performance of the football team!

Agree with you. Miles' press conference after the Arkansas was pretty telling. In essence him saying he didn't know what was wrong and his confused look were pretty telling. I felt sorry for him and he looked to take this one real personally.

Neither of the games we played could have had a different outcome with a different gameplan or different in game coaching.

We'd have to attempt another gameplan to be certain about that.

Lol. No coach would want to come to LSU after watching the school run off a coach who lost two games

Oh no! LSU will be stuck with no coach.

Wait, that's what they are stuck with now.

Don't worry Chicken Little, LSU will get a good coach.
