That's generous. I think 14-17 is more likely than 17-14. Complete roster turnover again, terrible coaching. It's going to be another wasted year.
11-2 at best, 9-4 at worst in the non conference. Home vs South Carolina and Mizzou might be the only 2 games where LSU is favored. Throw in a few upsets and LSU might end up 5-13.
My not that bold prediction is a miserable 14-17 season.
CMM has managed to suck all of the life out of LSU basketball. No hype, no energy, no expectations.

You would think that would seal McFraud’s fate but I’m not totally convinced.
Could you imagine if football missed the playoffs only followed up by another painful McMahon season? Woodward should be shown the door if that happens.

Frankly I think whether LSU makes the playoffs in football has an impact of sorts on McMahon too as silly as it sounds.
I think football making a run will take even more heat off of McMahon. Plus in the revenue sharing era everyone’s finances are up in the air

Seems McMahon would want to show off his new “high dollar team” by scheduling some decent competition to create some excitement for the fans, but I digress.

I was thinking 12-1 OOC, the 5 or 6 conference wins. Carolina x2, Vandy, UGA, 1 against Arkansas before Cal figures it out, and one other off the wall, out of our arse win like OU last year. What can I say, I’m an optimist and a basketball homer.

Plus we have a roster with 5 seniors/grad students & 2 juniors that have played big SEC minutes. All that experience has to be good for at least 1 win.

Woodward figured he could throw a bunch of money into football to squeak into the playoff, then fire McMahon when the heat is off Kelly for a season. OR if Kelly doesn't quite get it done, he'll fire McMahon as a token since we still can't afford to buy Kelly out.
Things would get interesting if Kelly really bombs this season because he may be forced to fire Kelly and keep McMahon. Would suck for the fans, but maybe the next AD could actually make a decent hire in a money sport.

Are you that unlearned to realize any fan can research NC State's non conference schedule.
Since you mention Wade, he has a reputation of researching/finding opponents whose previous records would boost his chance of helping him make the tourney. I suspect he will be in the tournament again this season. How many teams has he taken to the tourney in the last ten years. Now do Mac.
Unfortunately our present HC never learned.
