Play 1: Let Thomas dribble and then go 1 on 5 and take some wild arse shot

Play 2: Let Watford dribble and go 1 on 5 and take some wild arse shot.

Play 3: Let Smart take some wild arse 3 pointer from nearly half court.

I would say that’s 3 more plays that are in their defensive playbook.

When I pointed out earlier in the season that I thought our offensive approach sucked, I was quickly chastised and reminded how good our offensive efficiency was and that we were elite offensively. That I didn’t understand basketball. I responded that Wade’s offenses struggle against good defenses and that a deep tourney run will always end when we meet a good defensive team. That one-on-one talent doesn’t translate to championship success. I was relentlessly mocked.

This team is proving out everything I said. I don’t trust these experts on offensive efficiency and modern basketball theory. Give me a good passing game and hard-nosed defense over this crap every time.

agree 100% we have no clue what the word team means. all trendon, thomas and smart are doing is showing what they can do for the NBA SCOUTS. They do whatever they want trendon should be bench. maybe he should opt out

Your last sentence is the most hilarious part. imagine defending this team and saying what they do is “good basketball”.

We are one of the worst teams as far as assists goes (224th)..so that will tell you something about our philosophy.

It reminds me a lot of the offense Miami heat ran when they had “the big 3”. Though they were a lot better players and would penetrate to create openings for other players. So it’s like that except driving with your big man and not passing out of it and instead taking bad shots.

Sometimes they do the 3 handoffs at the top of the key, a weave from each wing, to get the other team to switch defenders, before they go to the Ballhawg offense......very deceptive

This is a stolen copy. It's basically everybody get out the way and let one guy go.

I'm really just dumbfounded that they haven't learned from what other teams have done to them. Other teams are penetrating and kicking, which then opens up a lot of options when swinging the ball around and attacking the glass. When Cam and Watford penetrate, EVERYBODY IS OPEN - that doesn't mean the 1st touch has to shoot, but you then have the defense in a scramble at the very least. When the defense scrambles, you're then also at an advantage on the glass.

Believe me, I'm not a hater...but it's painful to watch at times (alot of times).

Street ball. Very disappointed in Wade with the talent he has. It’s like he doesn’t want a spotlight on him or the team.

Just watched Iowa and Ohio St. What a nice offense both run to get high percentage shots. So refreshing

I loved when they were trying to run the weave bama kept stealing the ball and getting fast breaks. We can’t pass or shoot

Our obvious goal for the year was to lead the nation in the number of dribbles by a team. I would be surprised if we aren't near the top in the nation.
