Yeah. I was even thinking about making this thread.

It's really bad. A group of us tailgated for the Ben Simmons season Kentucky game and a facilities or Gameday worker came up to us kind of mad and was like y'all better pick up your shite and asked if we had a permit because they don't do tailgating for basketball. We were like lol wtf and kept drinking.

I have no problem with the tailgating, but what's needed is asses in seats, making noise, staying till the end of the game.

Tailgating is how you get people there and rowdy fans in the seats. LSU basketball isn't an event like football and baseball are. Make basketball fun and get people liquored up and it'll be good.

I call them the "football fans" that make an appearance at basketball games every blue moon. They don't act like the quiet snooty basketball fans usually do and it's a noticeable difference. We need those fans showing up every game.

Tailgating is great... who knows maybe it would help enthusiasm @ basketball games. On the other hand, I'm honestly not sure how much it helps football, People leave games early... are they tired from all-day tailgating?

Yeah we need to get to where you see people pounding beers before walking in like they do for football and baseball. The crowd was huge last night but was pretty quiet. They were basically silent for awhile. I know the team didn’t really give too many chances though

I’ve been dying to do a little tailgating for basketball. Will do it as soon as weather lets up a little. A little buzz really does help IMO.

I can’t put my finger on it other than the tailgating. I’ve literally seen gymnastics crowd cheer much harder than what I saw last night

The oysters were excellent, good and salty. Chargrilled is my favorite way to eat oyster, however I really like raw as well.

Our basketball fan base has forgotten (through no fault of their own) what it’s like to be excited for the program. The last time we really had something worth sustained excitement was over a decade ago for the final four run. I have no doubt that the fans will wake up as Wade continues to build his program. A shift like this doesn’t happen overnight. It will take a year or two to fully re-engage and re-energize the fans. Of course some of us are there now everyone else will get there eventually.

so now, enjoying a beer is being an alcoholic.

Want to have a beer do so, do not want to DON'T
that simple.

I seldom drink beer, but it would be enjoyable with the type of foods sold at the events, so I say yes.
