You have to give them credit for not giving up. Stopping the drive was a huge turnaround and defense came out of no where.

I hope the plan was to get him some 1st half minutes but the score dictated differently.
We are gonna need his fouls at the very least - all year.
Miller will have a hard time scoring in SEC if all he does is catch and shoot.
He's got to penetrate to at least mid range.

We can’t get Miller the ball and McMahon doesn’t have the sense to just let him bring the ball up when we’re having trouble getting it to him. It’s unbelievable really that a coach at this level can’t figure it out,

Phillips is sort of a project who fouls too often but at least he’s physical and he’s plenty mobile for a 7 footer. Even if it’s a 5 minute spell each half where he can throw the opposing big off his rhythm and help on the boards it’s worth getting him in there.
