Good summary.
Also, is it unreasonable to assume that the most aggressive defensive team in the country is probably going to generally commit more defensive fouls than their opponents?

You are describing what is called a read and react offense not a motion offense and this type of offense is what we are trying to do.
A motion offense puts everybody in a set starting spot and has predetermined movements based on where the ball is passed or dribbled.
A read and react offense has options, movements, reads based on where the ball is like you are describing
I have played in and coached both 5 out and 4 out 1 in motion offenses. Yes, there are typically starting spots in each of those, and everyone moves based on what happens, but motion offenses have evolved.
Players have multiple options when they get the ball - pass and cut, pass and set a screen, drive at someone to send them backdoor, drive at their defender and perform a dribble handoff, attack a gap and look for a finish or kickout/dump off. Each of these determines how the other players should be reacting.
Does the wing player on that side fade to the corner for a 3, come behind for a dribble hand off, cut back door? He is reading and reacting based on the ball handler.
A motion offense should have constant movement from all 5 positions and a lot of off the ball action including screening and cutting.
Sounds like you are describing more set plays and not a motion offense.

Win games. The rest takes care of itself.

I think we are arguing the same thing my man.
The terminology I use for this offense is read and react but it’s the same thing

That won’t happen, WW’s philosophy is predicated on using athleticism to win one on one matchups. Not saying he’s right or wrong, that’s just the way he approaches it and that’s what gets them beat against extremely disciplined fundamental teams and also against just as, if not more athletic teams.
His philosophy will work 90% of the time because of better athletes but needs more fundamental ball screens, spacing and patience in the inside/ out game because there will be nights where what he likes to do gets shut down and you better be able run other plays that produce.
I’m not saying they don’t run some plays to catch teams out of position, because they do, the problem is, fundamentally they don’t execute screens properly and therefore it’s ends in one on one situations.

19 offensive rebounds - I have no idea how many 2nd chance points Bama got off of these rebounds but I'd bet its more than 3.
Hardly none FWIW with that difference.

Who took the FTs and what are Days and Pinson’s stats and how do they factor in in their attempts per game?
quote:who is the PG on this team right now that has the savvy to play the position? Williams because it isn’t Gaines. He is Garrett Temple with a little better scoring.
21 TOs - Yes, One or two of these can be blamed on questionable calls

The lazy passing is infuriating
Especially the lazy bounce pass to the post...so unnecessary
Get a better angle and lob it inside

Would've been a prob last year b/c we had pure shooters. This year not so much.

I would have them practicing mid range jumpers and foul shots at practice over and over and over

I can still remember in playground ball the coaches teaching us to follow our shots... we definitely
DO NOT FOLLOW OUR SHOTS

You’re just flat out spewing shite without facts.
Last game LSU shot 34 shots from the paint

ZERO PAINT SUCCESS just running around playing skreet ball throwing up 3's when most of them have no business throwing up threes

So now that you’ve been outta for bull shite, you’re saying they had no success. I see. So since they couldn’t have gotten fouled because they never took it to the paint, which is what you first said in that all they did was jack up threes, it is shooting threes and no paint success…. They scored 67 points without their second leading scorer and point guard.
So a-hole
They were 10-22 at 45.5% from three point line. If I’m guessing that’s the best they have shot there all season but I’m not looking that up.
