Third quarter is done and LSU gets just eight points playing a lot of different combinations of players to see what it looks like and Puerto Rico goes to the fourth up 65-58

Same story as last season. Take a look at the Mizzou game.

According the Bahamas Basketball Federation website LSU is trailing P.R. 66-65 with 9 minutes left in the game. No box score, just live scoreboard. Not sure which is right.

It's a glorified practice with 2-3 of LSU's expected contributors apparently out. According to Lowe LSU is playing several different combos...as they should. I'm not ready to hit the panic button just yet.

Still, giving up 35 points in any 10:00 span, with any combo of players, against any opponent, is terrible.

Completely agree. But it is just concerning that this was a trend last year and it is happening on the same scale.

Hope that it is just a case of not having Cook, Reed, Fountain.

Good. Scoring 86 points against anyone is a move forward for this team.

I think this is a slight foreshadow of what this team will be this year, good offense, below average defense

We had 29 turnovers. Good lord.

Shot the ball pretty well at least. I have no idea what kind of competition Peurto Rico brings to the table though.
